Should you start Bub Means or Cedrick Wilson Jr. in fantasy football?

**Chris Olave?** He’s out this week due to a concussion for the New Orleans Saints.

**Rashid Shaheed?** He’s sidelined for several weeks after undergoing meniscus surgery.

So, with Thursday Night Football approaching, who should you start from the Saints' receiving corps in fantasy football?

Here’s my take: *someone* has to catch passes, even against Denver's tough defense. Fortunately for the Saints, Patrick Surtain II is out, which improves their chances.

**Bub Means** is a solid WR3 with upside. This makes him a top-30 fantasy option this week, and I’d feel comfortable starting him, especially if your regular receivers are on a bye.

**Cedrick Wilson Jr.** is more of a long shot. He’ll likely see slot action, but I wouldn’t start him unless you're in an extremely deep league.

**Alvin Kamara** is about to see a big boost in targets, which is great news if he’s on your roster.

With both Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed sidelined due to injuries, fantasy football managers are left scrambling to find viable receiving options from the New Orleans Saints. As Thursday Night Football approaches, the question arises: should you start Bub Means or Cedrick Wilson Jr. in your lineup?

### **Bub Means: A Rising WR3 with Potential**

Bub Means has stepped up as a solid option for the Saints, especially with Olave and Shaheed out. He's currently positioned as a WR3 with potential for more, making him a top-30 option this week. Despite facing a tough Denver Broncos defense, the absence of star cornerback Patrick Surtain II gives Means a better opportunity to make an impact. If you’re dealing with bye weeks or injuries, Means offers a reliable option with room for upside, especially in a pass-heavy Saints offense.

### **Cedrick Wilson Jr.: A Deep-League Sleeper**

Cedrick Wilson Jr., on the other hand, is more of a deep-league flyer. Expected to work primarily out of the slot, Wilson could see increased volume, but his role is less certain compared to Means. Unless you’re in a very deep league or desperate for a flex option, Wilson might not provide enough consistent production to justify a start.

### **Verdict: Who Should You Start?**

If you're choosing between the two, Bub Means is the safer and higher-upside play in most leagues. His WR3 status and the potential for increased targets make him a good fill-in for this week. Cedrick Wilson Jr. could have some sneaky value in extremely deep leagues, but he remains a riskier option. Keep in mind that **Alvin Kamara** will likely see a significant increase in targets as well, which could limit the opportunities for the remaining receivers.

In summary, Bub Means is the go-to pick for fantasy managers this week, while Cedrick Wilson Jr. is more of a dart throw for those in deeper leagues.
